Crazy Joey

Authored by Alan Sampson, Crazy Joey: The Most Corrupt Cop in America tells the true story of Joseph Eugene Floyd — a former Crestview, Florida police officer whose career was marked by excessive force, manipulation, and intimidation.

The book tracks Floyd’s rise and fall, showing how he used his badge to control, exploit, and harm people around him. It exposes his pattern of bullying fellow officers, misusing department resources, and committing acts of violence while protected by the system.

Sampson doesn’t just list the crimes. He shows the man behind them, a sociopath who treated power as a personal weapon and left lasting damage on the Crestview community.

Crazy Joey is a hard look at what happens when the wrong person wears the uniform.
